Everything you need to know about Thursday Night Football on NFL Network and CBS

Story highlights C’mon, this is just too much for one game!

The Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in prime time.

Football is back! And two-a-days have already begun!

From local to national broadcasts to day games, the NFL has given fans plenty to consider as the season gets underway. This morning, we’re taking a look at what to expect from the Thursday games this week, with a prime-time matchup featuring the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles being the featured matchup.

And that’s not all.

From the sizzle of rookies and veterans to post-game celebrations to the extravagant uniforms of receivers, here’s what you can watch as the league opens its regular season on Thursday, October 18.

Cleveland Browns vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Time: 8:20 p.m. ET

Channel: NBC

Network: NFL Network

Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA

Announcers: Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, Michelle Tafoya

The Birds, otherwise known as the “Super Bowl LII champs,” have dominated headlines thus far this year, after trading away the great Carson Wentz, giving Nick Foles the starting nod. Now they hope their first victory in month long of 2018 will be sealed by a victory over the Browns.

In other games:

Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints

Time: 1:00 p.m. ET

Channel: FOX

Network: NFL Network

Location: Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans, LA

Announcers: Kevin Burkhardt, Charles Davis, Kristina Pink

Detroit has been brutal on national television in recent years, with only a win over the Minnesota Vikings to show for their three appearances. Now they’ll take on a fierce rival that has played them tough over the past few years, including an ugly loss in last year’s home opener. This year will be no different.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts

Time: 4:25 p.m. ET

Channel: CBS

Network: NFL Network

Location: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN

Announcers: Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, Tracy Wolfson

The Jaguars of Jacksonville are looking to build some momentum after a run to the AFC South title and an appearance in the AFC title game a season ago. They should get that opportunity this year with Indianapolis playing out of it’s disposal.

Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers

Time: 8:30 p.m. ET

Channel: CBS

Network: NFL Network

Location: StubHub Center, Carson, CA

Announcers: Spero Dedes, Solomon Wilcots, Michelle Tafoya

This should be another high-scoring match-up, as both teams ranked in the top 10 in passing offense coming into week one. Also, the Titans brought back their offensive coordinator to help solve their turnover issues.

Plus, ladies, don’t overlook the Chargers. They did just finish as the number one offense in the AFC against the AFC West, and have reached the Super Bowl three times in the past 14 years.
