Johnny Strides was born and raised in the Toronto, Canada area and has served his people for 30 years. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce, Johnny became a store manager and had an opportunity to help reduce crime and usher the city out of its black eyes during the 1980s through the 1990s. He received national recognition when the city adopted a Kids for Cash program (similar to CCTVs in surveillance shops) where single parents were made eligible for hundreds of dollars for their children’s education, but unlike most, Johnny did not play along. He saw the error of his ways and sent all the parents of children in his store to jail, the same night they signed up for the program. With these actions, Johnny not only had lost his job, but also was convicted of fraud for the crime of spreading false rumors in the newspapers stating he was being investigated for $11 million worth of fraudulent charges.
